What are your hours of operation and what happens if we need something after hours?

Our hours of operation are 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday – Friday.

Do you accept Back Title Letters/Prior Policies from other Title Companies?

Yes, we accept ALL Back Title Letters/Prior Policies and we provide your clients with the same Re-Issue Rate they would receive through the previous Company. Please note that in order for our Office to provide the Re-Issue Rate, the Policy must be less than 15 years old and in order to tack to the Policy, we must receive a copy of the Policy, including Schedule B Exceptions.

Can I obtain a Re-Issue rate with a copy of an existing Hud-1 if I am unable to locate the Prior Policy?

We are able to provide a re-issue rate in cases where you are unable to locate a copy of the Prior Policy if you fax or e-mail a copy of the prior Hud-1 Settlement Statement to our Office. Please note that the Hud-1 will not allow you to update or tack to the Policy but we will be able to provide your Client with a Re-Issue Rate. Standard search requirements will apply based upon the type of transaction being insured.

Will you insure over certain matters?

Yes, we are more than happy to do our best, along with Stewart Title Guaranty Company, First American Title Insurance Company and WFG National Title Insurance Company Legal Counsel, to provide your client with the best coverage possible for their investment. In certain situations, they allow us to take it one step further and we actually provide Affirmative Coverage.

How do you handle Claims?

As a part of the Insured’s Policy, there is a section regarding Claims. They make the actual claim with Stewart Title Guaranty Company, First American Title Insurance Company and WFG National Title Insurance Company. The Claims Counsel will contact our office and request a copy of our file and we will normally act as the liaison between the Claims Counsel and the Attorney’s Office or the Insured.
